Multilingual and Mulcticultural Training for Kūrybinės Jungtys
I worked with the organisation Kūrybinės jungtys in Vilnius as a workshop designer and educational consultant, contributing to a multicultural education initiative within the municipal education system. My role involved designing and delivering a professional development workshop for creative practitioners working in diverse educational contexts.
The workshop focused on building a strong conceptual foundation for multicultural education and supporting participants in developing effective learning design processes for collaboration with teachers. Drawing on relevant literature and established practices in multicultural and multilingual education, I introduced key theoretical perspectives and process models that inform inclusive educational initiatives.
A central emphasis of the work was enabling participants to translate theory into context-sensitive practice. Rather than promoting fixed activities or replicable exercises, the workshop explored adaptable learning design principles that practitioners could apply in their own settings. Follow-up mentoring and support were also provided to assist participants in implementing these approaches within their projects.
