Teaching English Africa

Teaching English Africa (https://africa.teachingenglish.org.uk/) is the British Council’s regional support site for teachers and teacher educators in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The site provides hundreds of high-quality free classroom resources, articles and publications to support with continuing professional development written for the African context.

I was the manager and materials editor for the development of this website. My role was to organise, edit and QA the work of three experienced writers, with the aim of creating a suite of material which would upgrade the knowledge and skills of teachers withing the context of sub-Saharan Africa.
